I have just had a very restful and relaxing 5 night stay at Marina Beach. Perfect in every way. Picked up by Despoina from the Port and returned by Antonis after allowing me late afternoon check out because of my ongoing ferry timetable. What a godsend, the kind of gesture that makes all the difference when you're travelling. Although my room No.1 was on the ground floor, I still had a lovely seaview from my terrace. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely hosts who were very approachable. Despoina and Antonis went out of their way to ensure my stay with them was a pleasant one. Efcharistó 😊 The location affords peace and quiet, and it only takes about 20 minutes to walk along the seafront from Marina Beach to the town of Livadia. There is a tiny beach nearby, but if you walk along to Faros Taverna, there are free sunbeds on a lovely wee beach, and you can enjoy lunch by the sea, in an idyllic Greek setting.

Whether it is an advice or some things that you may need during your stay. He also gives you little treats at arrival and departure and those given to me were absolutely delicious. This is greek philoxenia (hospitality) at its best. The old world charm as they often say in guide books;-)
